An association of persons (usually lay persons) approved by the Roman Catholic Church that is called together by God to share a common “Charism,” that is, a distinctive way of living the Christian faith.

Focolare Movement

Inspired by Jesus' prayer to the Father: "May they all be one" (John 17:21) and by living a Gospel based spirituality of unity, Focolare's members aim to create warm and open spaces of mutual care, concern and acceptance across every form of social, economic, cultural, ethnic, religious and political differences. Focolare's official name is “Work of Mary.”
