Missionary Families of Christ

Missionary Families of Christ (MFC) is an international Catholic organization of faithful men and women that focuses its efforts on evangelization. Officially recognized by the Vatican, MFC works tirelessly in Catholic dioceses from 60 countries around the world to renew and defend life through evangelization, as well as participate in the work of building the Church of the poor.  There are six sections in MFC: Couples, Singles, Youth, Kids, Handmaids and Servants, each equally important to the life and mission of the community.

We strive to be God’s holy warriors, as we commit to renew the temporal order through our work in defending faith, family and life. We are a servant to the Church, working to renew her children through every generation and throughout the world, until the Lord returns once again.

Missionary Families in Christ in the Archdiocese of Washington:

Activities include Christian Life Seminars, Outreach Activities, Marriage Enrichment Retreats, and Pro-Life Rallies. Members are grouped into households made up of 4-7 couples meeting weekly in their private homes. A general prayer assembly is held on the first Saturday of the month for all MFC members. There are annual National Conferences and ongoing Mission trips. At St Edward the Confessor Church in Bowie, MD, and St. John Catholic Church, Columbia MD, MFC offers the Christian Life Seminar (CLS) for adults and MFC Youth and Kids Camp.
